Since moving to Mexico from Atlanta, Georgia we noticed that there was a need for people that performed quality home inspections. We also have learned through our own experiences in Puerto Vallarta real estate that what you may expect in your home country may not be the same in Mexico. When we purchased our home and paid our hard-earned money for the home inspection, we thought we were making a sound investment that would give us some insight to the home that we were purchasing. Well, there was insight gained, however, a complete understanding to items that required attention were not obtained through the report. Needless to say, we purchased the house and immediately had some unforeseen expenses that should have been noted by the inspector. Yeah, it happens, but the reason why it was immediate was because the inspection was not performed to a standard where there was attention to detail, that would give us a complete and concise understanding of the house. Having an engineering background, remodeled homes, completed hundreds of residential construction projects, and having been a licensed real estate agent we knew that we could offer a better service to potential home buyers and renters to ensure that they have a thorough picture of the home they were purchasing or renting.
